My last item I bought during Cyber Monday finally came in so I thought I would post a new blog on all the items and discount I received. I am so excited to try each and every one of these products and when I have time I'll write reviews on some of them.
According to Boost my Product's website, Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday immediately following Black Friday. Cyber Monday is one of the busiest shopping days of the year for online retailers. Many consumers who were too busy to shop over the Thanksgiving weekend, or who did not find what they were looking for, head to the web on Monday from work or home to find bargains.
I actually never knew about Cyber Monday until my sister told me and I started surfing on the net for great deals. I enjoyed being home and shopping then going out in the cold, waiting in line, and being around crazy people doing anything to get what they came for. I bought more items on Cyber Monday than on Black Friday. One thing that is a big disadvantage for Cyber Monday is the long wait for your item to be shipped to you. I guess since I was so busy with school, I had the patience to wait for it to come in.
The first thing I bought online was from Ulta. If you made a $35 online purchase, you receive a free sample bag with 12 free samples which is a value of $40. If you spend over $25, you also get free shipping. Also with every online order you can choose three extra free samples. I guess this deal wasn't that great but I still enjoyed getting samples to try before buying the actual product.
So I bought these items:
The Perfect Smokey Eye Collection by Smashbox for $14.99
Balance N Brighten by Laura Geller for $31 and 24/7 Eye Pencil by Urban Decay Cosmetics in Zero for $17
And these are the items I received for free (some of them are missing or have been opened because I used them or gave some samples to my sister before taking a photo of them).
Beauty in a Bag by Ulta with the three other samples I received
From the iQQU Beauty Website, there was a good amount of discount on the products as well.
A cute little card that came with the products.
The products I bought from iQQU Beauty
The Jasmine Rice Scrub original price is $15 and I got it for $11.99
I love the smell of freshly cooked Jasmine rice. The scrub has a natural smell of Jasmine rice and there are little particles of soft rice in the scrub that is gentle on your skin. I have dry sensitive skin and this scrub doesn't irritate my skin at all. It also leaves my face really soft and feeling fresh. My first impression of using this scrub for the last couple of days have been a positive one.
The iQQU Stippling Brush original price is $12.99 and I got it for $9.99
The last website I went to was Famous Footwear. I have been looking for this very nice boot for a year now and since the price of the boot was so expensive I never got the chance to buy it until now. Their deal was buy one pair of shoe get one half off (which is always their store deal) plus another 20% off each shoe plus free shipping. It was such a great deal and I couldn't pass it off.
The boot I've always been searching for is on the left. It is called Blowfish Hamish original price is $54.99 with the discount I got it for $43.99. And the one on the right which is called Rocket Dog Honeypup is the boot I got for half off plus another 20% off which came up as only $20. Such a good deal!
I guess another down fall for buying online is not being able to try it on. The white boot came in last and I didn't really like it because it was too tight on my calves. I just didn't like it as much as my Blowfish boot so I gave it to my sister who ended up liking it too.
I hope you enjoyed my Cyber Monday haul and I already can't wait for next year to come. I'll definitely research deals ahead of time so I get even greater deals than I did this year.
